Assign user to mysql database

From the shell connect to MySQL as an administrator:

mysql -u root -p mysql

Now on the mysql prompt type:

> grant all privileges on DATABASE_NAME.* to USERNAME@localhost identified by ‘PASSWORD’;
> flush privileges;
> \q
